Sony's Birthday

We had a great day celebrating the 9 years that God has given us with Anderson...what a gift.

We went to Boulder Creek for a picnic with Uncle Scott and his friend Brian.

Creedy really got into playing Frisbee.

Since it was Sony's birthday he had the privilege to play with Uncle Scott's iPhone quite a bit.

Now that Sony's brothers are getting bigger he is getting some pretty nice presents from them.

Sony has been asking for a new bike for about a year. We told him that we probably wouldn't be able to get it for him this year and he was fine with that.

But how do you wrap a bike? Tim had a great idea to switch his old bike with the new one in the garage. We were just about to have Anderson go out to the garage for his surprise when our neighbor boy rode past our house... now we had a new idea! Anderson is always up for a competition so we told him to see if his new outfit and shoes would help him beat Dalton (our neighbor) in a race.

He had NO idea he had a brand new bike...he was more concerned about getting the tag off his new shoes.

Creedy wanted a ride on Sony's pegs.

I can't imagine our family without Anderson.

God has poured out much grace into his life these past nine years. Anderson is a happy, very energetic, caring, affectionate, dare devil, and one who can turn any little game into a full blown competition.

Recently it has been so encouraging to see his love for God is growing in his heart.

One thing that he greatly enjoys right now is reading a theology book and after each chapter he gets to go for a Theology Breakfast with dad. HE LOVES IT!!!

I am excited that I get to watch you as you grow into a young man and pray that your life will be one that God uses to shine forth His glory!
