On the 4th of July we were all up early to drive up to St. Mary's Glacier/James Peak for a LONG hike. James Peak is a 13er (that means 13,000 feet). A friend, Jen was kind enough to lead us up to the top...she didn't know what she was in for!
It was a beautiful day for an all day hike.
Before this picture Brenna and I were kinda tired of wet feet. We had just dried our shoes and socks out at the top and didn't want to get them wet again. Our solution....well we slowed up the whole crew but we stepped into our garbage bags and slowly hobbled, wobbled, and looked like dorks but I laughed so hard.
It was a great day and a wonderful memory.
Thanks again Jen!
